In 2009 Harding Charter Prep was ranked 193 by Newsweek among the top 1,500 public high schools in the nation. The top 1500 are only 6% of all public schools in the nation. Of the nine Oklahoma public high schools in the top 1500, HCP was ranked third. Thank you to all of the teacher's and students that work so hard!!

The Aquila is now on sale! The cost of the yearbook this year is $50, and name stamps (name on the cover of the book) are $6. This year you have the option of adding the "World Book," an insert produced by the yearbook company covering all the important national and international events during this school year for only $3.50! Another new option this year is online purchasing. Yearbooks are now available for online orders!

Senior Baby Ads are now on sale. The cost is $50 for 1/8 of a page. Spaces are limited and will go to the first buyers. Please provide a physical or digital copy of a baby photo (you can do this at any photo counter) and a TYPED message to your senior.

All 2010 Seniors need to contact Garrison’s Photography to schedule their senior portraits for the yearbook. Please call 341-0734 to schedule.

All HCP Athletic Jackets can be purchased from TWID’s (6001 SE 15th Street, Midwest City) – ask for Adam or CJ when you go in.  They have the specs so they know exactly what a student can purchase.

Also, a TWID’s rep will come to the school, either sometime over the summer or at the beginning of the school year, for those that would rather not drive to Midwest City to purchase a jacket.  He will do measurements and take orders at this time.  When the jackets are in, he will deliver them to the school for students to pick up.  More information and a specific date to come at a later time.

Attention All Athletes

Do not forget if you plan to be involved in athletics this year you MUST have a current physical on file with the Athletic Director, Mrs. White.

All vehicles that do not properly display a current HCP Parking Permit will be towed at the owner's expense, as stated in the HCP Policies and Procedures, page 32.

We are in desperate need of parent help for our landscaping. We do not need to be here for you to come and mow, edge, etc.. If you are willing to work, please give the office a call and we will help you help us!

Our school has earned $769.01 since we begin participating in the Dollars for Schools program at Homeland. Please continue to support our school by signing up for a free One Card at your local Homeland store. If you already have a card, you will need to re-register your card with our school to continue earning HCP cash for this school year. Our School ID number with Homeland is 61037.

Students are not allowed to have cell phones in the classroom. First Offense: the cell phone will be collected and returned to the student in the office at the end of the day. Second Offense: the parent will be called to come pick up the cell phone. Third Offense: the student will be suspended for three days.
